Angelina Jolie announced a significant initiative to help educate children in conflict areas. The project was founded by Jolie and Gene Sperling.
The announcement is the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. It brings together eighteen commitments to reach a total of one million “children in conflict, post-conflict refugee and emergency situations.” This includes placing 350,000 out-of-school chindren in schools, and “improving the learning environment, safety, materials and teacher quality for another 650,000 students-including 200,000 Iraqi refugees and 300,000 children affected by the crisis in Darfur.”
The dollar amount of this project is $148 million.
Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie has attended the premiere of new film Darfur Now with hubby Brad Pitt.
The private screening was held at the United Nations building in New York at the start of a General Assembly. The film explores the continued conflict in Sudan through the experiences of six people. Written and directed by Ted Braun, the film stars Brad’s Oceans Thirteen co-star Don Cheadle and is set to open in US cinemas from November 2.
Our favorite lovers attended the New York Premiere of The Assassination Of Jesse James yesterday and do I even have to say that they looked beautiful? Don’t think so

So the couple attended one more event and this time was it the The Assassination Of Jesse James Premiere at the Deauville Film Festival, in France on September 3. Angelina looks so happy here and the outfit really, really fits her!

So the family is in Venice as you can see! We have new candids from yesterday when they arrived there and from today when Angie was out with the kids eating ice cream. I also started added events photos from The Assassination of Jesse James Premiere but we unfortunly mostly have MQ’s but we will add great HQ photos as they become available. The couple looks great as usual, enjoy these for now!
