Impeccable good looks aren’t all they have to offer.

Last year, Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave more than $6.4 million to various charities through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, according to New York Daily News’ Web site.

The Hollywood Reporter reporters, the couple’s 2008 returns show that their foundation pulled in more than $13 million, and of course that money went to worthy world causes.

The charities that reportedly gained the most were Global Health ($2 million), Human Rights Watch ($1 million), and Pitt’s own Hurricane Katrina charity, the Make It Right Foundation ($1 million).

Nearly a million dollars went to projects went to Cambodia, the original home of their son Maddox, and $500,000 went to the Armed Services YMC of the U.S Army, while Pitt decided to donate to his hometown – another $500,000 went to the Springfield, Missouri Public Schools.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are about to make their debut in jewelery design.

The couple have partnered with jewelry Asprey to create their own line of snake inspired jewelery.

The collection called “The Protector” will hit stores this week with prices starting at $525 for a silver baby spoon.

Proceeds from the jewelery will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, an organization which Jolie founded in 2006.

When asked about the new venture both Jolie and Pitt avoided commenting on the jewelery and instead focused on the charity “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

The inspiration of a snake came from a ring Jolie was given just before giving birth to her daughter Shiloh which she claims has protected their family.

Columbia Pictures has revealed the teaser trailer for Salt, the action-thriller directed by Phillip Noyce and starring Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

In the film, opening July 23rd, Jolie stars as Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.

Johnny Depp is in talks to join Angelina Jolie in The Tourist, which is targeting a February production start.

Depp would play an American tourist drawn into a web of intrigue by a female Interpol agent (Jolie) who is attempting to locate a criminal who was once her lover.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star is replacing Sam Worthington (upcoming Avatar), who dropped out over creative differences, as has director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) is in early talks to take over the director’s chair.

At one time, Bharat Nalluri was attached to direct with Tom Cruise in the lead role. Charlize Theron was also attached to the project for a long time, but was replaced by Jolie recently.

Julian Fellowes wrote the original script; Christopher McQuarrie and Jeffrey Nachmanoff did rewrites.
