Jon Voight has branded rumours of an impending split between daughter Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as ‘nonsense’.

The Oscar-winning actor – who has a notoriously difficult relationship with Angelina – insists the couple are staying together and there is no truth in the recent claims suggesting otherwise.

When quizzed about the break-up rumours, Jon replied: ‘Nonsense. It’s all made up stuff.’

At the weekend, it was claimed Brad and Angelina – who raise six children together – were set to separate after signing legal papers which equally split their $330 million fortune and custody of the kids.

However, sources say that while the couple – who have been dating for five years – did sign the papers, they only did so as a precaution.

One source told Life and Style magazine: ‘Brad and Angelina had a meeting with a top law firm in Los Angeles in December, where they worked out terms of a legal document similar to a pre-nup. The couple signed the document in early January. They agreed to share their money and assets and custody of their six children, all of whom would live with Angelina in the event of their parents’ break-up.’

But those close to the couple are adamant they have no intention of separating.

It’s Friday, and publicists are scrambling–but not for the predictable reasons like, say, the upcoming show season. They are busy pulling samples for a weekend Vanity Fair shoot featuring Angelina Jolie. According to industry sources, the actress will appear on the magazine’s August 2010 cover. It is not clear if Brad Pitt or any members of the Jolie-Pitt brood will appear alongside her.

This is far from the first time Jolie has figured prominently in Graydon Carter’s glossy. In July 2008, the lower fifth of Vanity Fair’s cover consisted mostly of her cleavage. In April 2009, a VF.com poll anointed Jolie the most beautiful woman in the world. Jolie’s first Vanity Fair cover was the June 2005 issue, which was accompanied by the coverline “Hollywood’s wild child grows up–just a little! Angelina Jolie speaks out on Brad and Jen, dating a woman, and sex as a single mom…”

Jolie tends to favor diaphanous nude gowns for her Vanity Fair covers, so no doubt the Versaces and Max Azrias of this world are busy culling together samples. Vanity Fair declines to comment on stories that are currently in development.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have pledged themselves to assist Wyclef Jean in relief efforts for those affected by the high magnitude earthquake in Haiti.

The philanthropic Hollywood power couple said, “We are devastated by the news from Haiti. We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”

Angelina and Brad traveled to Haiti in recent years to donate their time and support to Wyclef’s charity Yele Haiti.

Since 2001, Angelina has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The do-gooders were very involved in rebuilding the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Pitt launched the “Make it Right” campaign in 2007 to build homes in the devastated city.

It is with great sadness that we bring you the following news from E!’s Cristina Gibison: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not going to the Golden Globes. They won’t be on the red carpet.

Who’s the source on this? Angie’s stylist, Jen Rade, who told E!: “They’re not going because he’s not nominated individually,” she said. “Inglourious Basterds is, but not him.”

Brad’s manager confirmed Monday morning that he won’t attend.

Several years ago, Angelina Jolie became the face of St. John clothing and promoted their line for awhile. This should be really old news, but all of a sudden St. John are running their mouth off about Angelina and basically saying they dumped her for being more of a big deal than their boring clothes designed for Ladies Who Lunch. While Angelina Jolie hasn’t appeared in an ad for St. John for some time, the luxury knitwear company is speaking out on the absence of her famous face from their campaign. The label’s chief executive officer Glenn McMahon tells WWD, “[Jolie] overshadowed the brand. We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.” So while other luxury brands have hired the likes of Madonna, Emma Watson, Eva Mendes and others to star in their upcoming spring/summer 2010 campaigns, St. John turned to red-headed model Karen Elson, a decision McMahon sees as a step in the right direction for the brand. “We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John,” he says. “We have evolved.” And according to the label’s website, executive vice president of design for St. John, George Sharp, who also directed the new ads, views Karen as the “epitome of the modern day woman…the St. John woman… strong, confident, sensual and approachable with effortless glamour.

Angelina Jolie’s mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, left three of Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children each $100,000 in a trust fund. Bertrand died in 2007 from cancer.

According to wonderwall.msn.com, included in the generous amount of money are Maddox, 8, Zahara, 6, and Shiloh, 3. However, the grandchildren will not be able to access the money
until they turn 25.

But what about the celeb’s other children: 4-year-old Pax and newborn twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline? These kids were left out of the trust fund money altogether.

Why? TMZ.com reports that Bertrand’s will was last updated in 2006, before these three kids were even alive, therefore they miss out on grandma’s six-figure inheritance.
