The UK’s InStyle Magazine has recently named Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt one of the Best Dressed Celebrity Couple, coming second to Madonna and Guy Ritchie.

In Style, Britain’s number one authority on celebrity style, devised its list of the world’s best dressed celebrity couples and asked readers to vote for their top three. Over half of the 7,000 readers who voted, decided that Guy Ritchie – whether tuxed up or in Barbour jacket – is the perfect compliment to his glamorous wife. Brad and Angelina’s smouldering red carpet presence brought them in second and Posh and Becks, and their matchy, matchy designer outfits and his and hers hairstyles, have had to settle for third, nominated as the most co-ordinated couple on the list.

Couples which made In Style’s best dressed list include:

· Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes – It was felt that their red-carpet public appearances evoke the Hollywood glamour of a bygone era and the couple were deemed most Old School Hollywood

· Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale epitomise Best rock royalty, with individual looks that compliment each other. Both have their own edgy style but always end up looking fantastic as a couple

· Cutest are Kate Bosworth and James Rousseau who the team at In Style felt lead the young Hollywood set by choosing highly covetable clothes, without being too edgy

· Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher – neither dress as though they are making a desperate bridging effort across their 15-year age gap. Instead both make age-appropriate wardrobe choices that compliment each other and are most complementary as a couple

· Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick – always immaculately well-dressed

· Kelly Brook and Billy Zane – no one does an open-neck and three-day stubble quite like Billy, while Kelly can equally look amazing wearing Riviera chic, gorgeous tea dresses and curve-enhancing bikinis

· Kirsten Dunst and Johnny Borrell included in the list due to their laid back, not over-styled individual looks

· Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck – best all-American kids and role models to yummy mummies and thrusting business boys everywhere

· Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise – Permanently glamorous, yet Tom is happy to let his wife shine in show-stopping gowns

· Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon – both are excellent at casual or more ‘done’ dress and are the perfect combination of UK/US style

· Kate Moss and Pete Doherty (before the bust-up) – together they had a cute way of stealing each other’s style – she’d turn his cast offs into Sunday morning chic or wear his trilby, and he’d borrow her bags, jewellery or dresses!
