Filming Locations

• Filming began at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, lasting only 26 day in November 2005. A total of 300 cameras were used. • All CGI was developed at ImageMovers Studios in San Fransico

• Screenwriters Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary originally penned the film in 1997 • The cast members of Beowulf were filmed on a motion capture stage. They were altered on screen using computer-generated imagery, but their animated counterparts bear much resemblance to themselves. • The cast spent the entire filming dressed in blue skintight suit. • The idea to present the film in 3D only came into light at the beginning of 2007.
