Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie may be living tourist destinations.
Whenever they appear in public, a crowd gathers — a big one — which is news to no one, except perhaps director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who found himself trying to film a scene with them at a Venice train station before an audience of hundreds, maybe thousands, of spectators. Interviews are rarely as engaging and in a more beautiful setting than Sony’s press junket for The Tourist. Set in beautiful Paris near the splendor of the Champs Elysees and Louver, we had the distinct pleasure of speaking to Angelina Jolie in one of the nicest hotels this pauper journalist has ever seen. Jolie was at ease and all smiles during the interview. It’s clear she had a great time filming in Venice and starring opposite the uber-cool Johnny Depp.
Jolie stars as Elise, a femme fatale under constant surveillance by Scotland Yard and Interpol. Her lover, the clever Alexander Pierce, has eluded authorities and stolen a billion dollars from a ruthless Russian gangster. In her efforts to outwit the cops and criminals, Elisa lures in Frank (Depp), a hapless tourist blindsided by the affections of such a stunning woman. But Frank gets more than he bargained for as the danger of their situation starts to sink in. Read the rest of this entry…

Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has admitted that her 6-year-old son Pax is a better cook than his mum.
In the new issue of Vogue magazine, which features the Oscar-winner on the cover, Jolie admits, “I’m not the best cook.”
“Pax is a better cook than me. Pax likes to cook,” Fox News quoted her as saying.
“But I try to when I can. Any house that we’re in, we all chip in. But the kids are very sweet … so enthusiastic anytime I cook,” she said.
Jolie says she feels her oldest son Maddox, now 9, almost raised her in a way. Maddox seems aware of his mother”s feelings. He encourages her when she cooks breakfast, saying “Good job!”
She also talks about daughter Shiloh, who recently found a dead bird and wanted to keep it for a pet. Jolie”s answer: find a bird from a taxidermist instead.

The ‘Salt’ star says her guilty pleasure is to eat red meat and that when she restricted her diet to not include any animal products, it had negative effects on her health.
She said: “I joke that a big juicy steak is my beauty secret. But seriously, I love red meat. I was a vegan for a long time, and it nearly killed me. I found I was not getting enough nutrition.”
The 35-year-old brunette beauty also admits she enjoys seeing her hands “grow older” as it is a sign of how much she has grown up and matured as a mother to six children – Maddox, nine, Pax, six, Zahara, five, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – whom she raises with partner Brad Pitt.
She added: “Happiness is when I look down at my hands and they are washing a baby. I can sort of see my hands grow older and I love it.”

Angelina Jolie says that Salt gave her an excuse to get out of bed after giving birth to her twins but she still felt a pang of guilt at times leaving her little ones at home.
The 35-year-old actress tells that after she gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne, she needed to involve herself in an action flick like Salt as that drove away that feeling of ‘soft’ness.
Angelina said: “It was difficult to switch to being an action hero for a minute. But it was so nice to have an excuse to get out of bed and get back in action and not feel so soft with the pregnancy and all that comes with it after.”
But still at times, when she was shooting one or the other of those blood-chilling scenes, she felt that she did not belong there and should perhaps be at home feeding her newborns.
The mom in Angelina gushed- “I did have a moment where I found myself thinking, ‘I am somebody’s mom, I don’t belong here.’ I was on the freeway with somebody chasing me and two weeks before I was at home feeding the babies. I felt like, ‘Oh, they’ve got the wrong person.’ “
After all, it is no small task to handle a flourishing acting career and a bustling home made of six children and a superstar husband.

Angelina Jolie first read the script for Salt just after she had given birth to her much-adored twins, Vivienne and Knox. As she points out, it was rather difficult to imagine making an action-thriller which would involve high-octane stunts—most performed by Jolie herself—including gritty fight sequences, edging along a tiny ledge 12 stories high, and leaping on to moving cars, when your focus is on caring for your newborn babies.
But then, the Oscar-winning actress clearly loves a challenge. “I do like making movies like this, and I loved making this one,” she smiles. “When they first called me about Salt, I had just had the twins and I was at home in my nightgown feeling very soft and maternal. Read the rest of this entry…

If there’s one actress who is not afraid to try anything… even in food, it would be Angelina Jolie.
We recently interviewed the award-winning actress in Cancun, Mexico for her action-packed movie, “Salt,” where she portrays Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who is being hunted by her peers. We asked her about her unusual acting partner in this movie – an eight-legged spider.
“I did not get to keep it,” she said. “But I do like spiders, bugs, and all that. I am not squeamish. I have eaten some in my days in Cambodia so I don’t have a problem (laughing). But I didn’t eat this one (laughter).”

Brad Pitt gets major props as a life partner. He doesn’t expect Angelina Jolie to cook or clean. And if she rings his cell and says, “Honey, I’m dangling 120 feet off a skyscraper,’ he doesn’t pitch a fit. He just continues to baby-sit.
“I met Brad when we were doing stunts together,” Jolie says in a casual voice over tea at the Ritz-Carlton. “We’re that family that likes a challenge. It’s expected that Mom goes out and jumps onto the top of trucks and beats up four guys at a time. That’s just a day at work.” Read the rest of this entry…
