But you won’t hear any 140-character musings from the actress, 35. She’s locked her account; she has no followers and isn’t following anyone.

“Jolie had her people obtain the account for her so no one else could have that username,” a source tells UsMagazine.com. “There was actually someone else using @AngelinaJolie but Angelina requested the account suspended and took it over.”

The insider adds that the Salt star might become active on the microblogging site “later this year.”

So what would she write about?

“If she uses it, it will be for charity-related items or sharing links,” says the source.

Liev Schreiber says Angelina Jolie was a tough target in the spy thriller Salt because she’s a really fast runner.

‘SHE’S A SPRINTER’

“She’s very fast, arms pumping, she’s got sprinter run,” Schreiber, 42, tells Canada’s Star daily.

In Salt, Angelina, 35, plays a CIA agent accused of being a Russian sleeper spy. In order to prove her innocence, Jolie’s character, Evelyn Salt, goes on the lam.

Liev’s job was to catch and arrest Angelina, but says he couldn’t keep up with her in the foot-chase scenes because she’s a sprinter underneath her frail frame.

She “very, very” tough to chase, says Schreiber.

“There’s an awful lot of running,” he recalls. “I didn’t expect it to be a very physical role for me, so I didn’t train much. Of course, I show up for the first week of shooting and I’m chasing her all through the (National) Mall in a suit and dress shoes. I never really realized how difficult that was. I suppose that to sprint for a hundred meters or so once in a suit it’s fine, but if you had to do it a 100 times, it gets tough.”

JOLIE FOLLOWED A HIGH-CARB DIET & DID FIGHT TRAINING

For those who have seen the film, the action and stunt scenes are loud and intense, with lots of running, jumping and fighting sequences that would test the stamina of an athlete.

But the super-skinny Angelina trained and followed a high-carb diet to prevent weight loss while keeping up her strength during the physically exhausting shoot, says her stunt instructor, Simon Crane.

“Angelina had to have 70% carbohydrates and 30% protein diet with an anaerobic training regime (as opposed to aerobic), so she can put muscle on without losing weight,” he say.

Jolie, who previously took up karate and weight-lifting when she played Lara Croft in the 2001 and 2003 blockbusters, also underwent training for Salt. “For her fight training, we got her learning a combination of Muay Thai and Krav Magha very early on,” says Crane. “We would then pick the moves she was best at and combine them into a sequence.”

Meanwhile, co-star Schreiber is no stranger to physical roles himself, having played Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Jewish resistance fighter Zus Bielski in Defiance (2008) and a war hero in The Manchurian Candidate (2004).

‘THE STUFF ANGIE CAN DO PHYSICALLY IS REMARKABLE’

While Liev has no problem taking on mentally and physically challenging action roles, meeting Angelina made him nervous.

“I was very intimidated and kind of nervous [when we first met],” he recalls. “I get uncomfortable around famous people and beautiful women, and she was kind of a double threat. This was a big double-whammy for me and initially really uncomfortable.” Angelina_Jolie_did_her_own_stunts_in_Salt Salt premiere

But Schreiber immediately bonded with Angelina while discussing their kids.

“All the anxiety about her being very famous and a super-human celebrity kind of went away and I found this very nice, easy person that I could relate to,” he recalls.

Liev was also impressed that Jolie could do such physically tough action scenes despite her fragile-looking frame.

“I think that’s one of the guilty pleasures of being a guy: watching beautiful women pull off these action things,” he says. “The stuff that Angie can do, physically, is remarkable.”

The strapping 6’3″ Schreiber notes: “She’s a lot shorter than I thought she would be [Jolie is 5'8"], but I was pleased by that. I’m happy there was a flaw.”

He adds: “Having said that, I think Angelina is pretty talented and a remarkable human being, and a great mom. She’s definitely not like any other lady I know.”

Salt is in theaters now.

The star, sans partner Brad Pitt, arrived in all black and took part in a panel to discuss her new spy thriller.

“I thought it was one of the smartest scripts I read and I’d done a lot of action movies, but they’ve always been based in fantasy in some way,” she contrasted. “It was the first time I got to do something based in reality and I think that makes all the action harder and tougher and just a lot more fun.”

Angelina also described the intricate role she had to master to become one with Evelyn Salt, saying, “There was a real duplicity to her personality and there’s a part of her that’s not necessarily a good guy because of certain things that happened to her. She’s a bit damaged. She’s not just heroic and she’s not even and she’s not just brave. There’s something a little off about her.”

When Angelina Jolie enters a room, one has to stop for a second to mentally get your head around the fact that an international icon is sitting two feet away. That being said, there are few celebrities that we have spoken with who had more of an air of ease about them — one that was equally comforting and compelling.
Salt is the thriller of the summer! As directed by Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger), the spy movie gets a shot in the arm and much of the credit lies on the shoulders of Angelina Jolie.

Noyce first worked with Angelina Jolie on The Bone Collector a decade ago and reported that whereas before, “I was the teacher and she was the student.” Now, “Angie had much to teach me.”

Angelina Jolie spoke candidly about her life with partner Brad Pitt and their six children. Jolie also was free in her ability to paint a true picture of what life is like at the Jolie-Pitt house.

SheKnows: There’s a lot of running in Salt — is being the mother of toddlers all the training you needed to get ready for the role?
Angelina Jolie: Yes [laughs], the toddlers run fast. But, actually Z (Zahara) is the fastest in the house. They’re all over the place! And the twins are always going in different directions at the same time.

SheKnows: You said you may scale back in films in the future. What else do you want to do in the future?
Angelina Jolie: I like to be very, very busy and I’m energized to do things. I don’t sit down well. I’m always reading something or thinking about something or going to make something. It’s not that I’m retiring, it’s just going to be less films that I make. I just imagine in the years to come I’d love to do other things. I’d love to live in Africa for six months and fly planes. I would like to see what else there is to do. Artistically, I’m sure there are other things to do.

SheKnows: Do you look forward to getting lines and getting older, honestly?
Angelina Jolie: Yeah [laughs]. I do. I like getting older. I think it’s because I lost my mother. There’s something about that, that you really appreciate being able to have history with the people you love. It becomes important to you. You want to see your grandkids. You want all those things. As it comes, there’s deep pleasure in it. I’m sure that’s also because I have a small family. I can relax into it. I do think age is beautiful.

SheKnows: What are your thoughts about being able to seamlessly move from action movies to dramatic, Oscar-earning roles?
Angelina Jolie: I’ve been so lucky to be able to do both action and dramatic films in my career. My audiences have accepted me in both.

SheKnows: Is it true that you had desired to do a James Bond-type role that Sony co-chair Amy Pascal was working on — and to our delight, it’s Salt?
Angelina Jolie: She had me in for lunch and asked me about doing a Bond movie. I jokingly said that I want to play Bond [laughs]. She called me about two years later and said, “I think I found it.” She said, “His name is Edwin.” [Laughs] I thought it sounded good so I told her to send it over.

SheKnows: Did you have input into the gender changes since the role was originally intended for Tom Cruise when he was Edwin Salt?
Angelina Jolie: A lot. The obvious would be that it would be made kind of lighter for a woman in some way, or more loving. We went in a completely opposite direction. The original male script, in the end, he is able to save his wife and kids and able to say, “I love you. I’ll protect you and my heart is with you.” For a woman, that’s not going to be a big revelation. What would be a revelation for a woman? What would be a surprise for a woman? We started there. Also, she would never have a child. I just felt she couldn’t. Also, I think as a woman, you would wonder why I’m not taking care of the child. It would become a film about me and the child. That wasn’t something that suited the film. That was the first call: We don’t say I love you, and there is no child [laughs].

SheKnows: But you get a dog!
Angelina Jolie: [Laughs] Yeah, someone gave me a dog. I have to at least have a dog [laughs].

SheKnows: For the stunts, did you train? I know you have a stunt team that you’ve worked with for ten years. Is it effortless? Like the scene in Salt where you’re scaling the building 15 floors up, I know you have no fear of heights.
Angelina Jolie: I was up there! We did go into the training. Although, you can’t train to jump off something or climb out a window. That one was just: Get out the window! We trained all the hand-to-hand combat because we wanted it to be seamless. We didn’t want to piece it together in different edits. We wanted to do it from beginning to end, so we rehearsed it, completely.

SheKnows: Do you have moments when you’re filming an action movie like this where you ask, “What am I doing?”
Angelina Jolie: I do! I remember my first day on the Salt set because I hadn’t worked for like a year-and-a-half. I was home and I had babies. I did my first day back and I thought, “What am I doing? I’m somebody’s mother.” [Laughs.]

SheKnows: Most of the film you’re running and running and running. Did you play sports as a kid?

Angelina Jolie: I did track.

SheKnows: Well, there you go. Do you ever tell your family what you’re going to be filming the next day on Salt and they say, “Please don’t do that?”
Angelina Jolie: You know, I met Brad (Pitt) doing stunts together, so we are kind of that family. It is expected of mom to go out and be dangerous.

The UN delegates comprising Hollywood star actress Angelina Jolie, her manager Jeffery Sachs, John McArthur and other high profile personalities have been spotted in town, the GhanaCelebrities.com reports.

They are in town to attend a private event which has been put together by UBI and UNDP in a secret location in town. The event is strictly by invitation. Proceeds from the event is will be use to cater for underprivileged villages in Ghana. But why would anybody want to mark such a commendable event on the quiet ?

It is so intriguing that, even though Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Kenny G command a lot of respect and have huge fan-base in Ghana, their presence in the country is under low publicity. It is unfortunate that the organizers did not take advantage of their stardom to boost up this event.

After the ‘secret’ event the delegation will attend the ‘Kenny G Concert’ on Saturday, 17th July 2010, at the African Regent Hotel. The concert is open to everybody to catch a glimpse of the Legendary Grammy award winner, who has sold 75 million records worldwide.

She may be one of the biggest movie stars in the world but nothing brings more joy to Angelina Jolie than spending time with her children. FARIDUL ANWAR FARINORDIN met her in Cancun, Mexico
THE last time we spoke, Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie had just experienced the joys of motherhood.

It was in 2002 during the filming of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life in Hong Kong.
Jolie had just adopted Maddox Chivan from Cambodia and was loving every minute of it.

Between takes, she would rush to play with her son, showing him the dazzling display of neon lights on the city’s skyscrapers.

Her eyes lit up every time she talked about him.

We met again recently at the seaside resort of Cancun in Mexico for Sony Picture’s Summer of Sony: The Sequel which promotes upcoming films from Sony Pictures Entertainment and its subsidiary studios.

Jolie is now biological mother to Shiloh Nouvel, born in 2006, a year after she and actor Brad Pitt met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, and two-year-old twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, born in 2008.

The couple are also parents to Pax Thien, 7, and Zahara Marley, 5, who were adopted from Vietnam and Ethiopia respectively.

Jolie was promoting her upcoming action thriller Salt (scheduled to open in local cinemas on July 29).

She plays CIA agent Evelyn Salt who is on the run after being accused of being a Russian spy.

The movie also stars Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Polish actor Daniel Olbrychski.

It reunited Jolie with Phillip Noyce who directed her in The Bone Collector (1999) which also starred Denzel Washington.

In a Press conference, Jolie said the project was a result of a comment she made a few years ago.

“I was meeting with (Sony Pictures co-chairman) Amy Pascal when she mentioned that she was going to make a new James Bond film.

I playfully said, ‘I want to be Bond!’ That was our little joke, and then she found this project.”
Later at an interview, her face brightened up every time she talked about her children so it came as no surprise when the human rights activist mentioned that she was thinking of cutting back on acting.

She also referred to Pitt as “the perfect gentleman” and a wonderful father.
Below are excerpts of the interview with Jolie.

You said in an article that you are planning to give up acting to spend more time with the kids.
I plan to cut back on acting at some point in my life as I want to do other things.

I love acting but I will make fewer films in future.

You took the role right after giving birth to Vivienne and Knox.

Was it tough to pull yourself away from a mother’s role and into an action one?
Those who have just had children will understand that it’s nice to have an excuse to get out of bed and back in action, what with pregnancy and all.

I was doing an action scene on a freeway where my character was being chased and I found myself thinking: “I don’t belong here.

I’m somebody’s mom.

They got the wrong person”.

Just two weeks earlier I was at home feeding the babies.

Did they get to join you on the set?
I was lucky to work five days a week.

I spent time with them during breakfast and dinner.

They also joined me for lunch.

When I work, they spend more time with their father.

Brad is such a great dad.
However, I am home with them most of the time.

I only work between eight and 14 weeks a year.

Are they excited about what mommy is doing?
They see me do a cartwheel and think that’s extraordinary! I can’t be more cool — to them I am just mommy.

When they’re on set and see me doing stunts, they understand how complicated the film-making process is.

Did you allow stunt co-ordinator Simon Crane (whom Jolie has worked with in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Mr & Mrs Smith) to push you around?
I call him Dr Crane.

He was always saying “suffer…

be ready to suffer”.

He knows I love heights so there were lots of action sequences involving heights.

He also kept pushing me where the fights scenes were concerned.

Where does your fearlessness come from? Were you always the kid who jumped off anything?
I was and now I have those fearless kids — Pax and Shiloh.

How do you find action adventure in real life?
I fly planes, ride bikes with Brad and travel to uncharted territories.

But the greatest adventure of all is having children.

Our kids are very much a part of everything we do.

Did you always have strong role models in your life?
I had a very strong mother.

(Jolie’s mother was the late actress Marcheline Bertrand who died in 2007).

She always called herself Marshmallow.

She was the softest person in the world and could never yell at me without laughing.

She was the kindest and most loving person I had ever known in my life and her faith and integrity were so strong they were unbreakable.

I now live with three very strong women — my daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne.

What was it like losing your mother?
It will never heal.

Somebody said to me recently ‘you will never get over it and you will never want to.’

The role of Salt was originally written for a male actor.

Does this mean gender roles don’t apply in Hollywood anymore?
It will always matter.

I’ve played lots of strong female characters but they were often set in some kind of fantasy world so my experience may differ from other actresses.

Which historical figure would you want to play?
I think it’s already been made known — Cleopatra.

She was misunderstood and her life story was written wrongly.

I always thought her life was very glamorous.

Then I read her story and learnt a different side to her — that she was a mother, leader and an intellect who spoke five languages!
Her upbringing also reflected her relationship with Rome — all that is much more interesting than what she was summed up to be.

Would you play it differently than the version portrayed by Elizabeth Taylor?
Yes, but I could never be as lovely as she was.

We are trying to uncover the truth about her as a leader and not just a sex symbol which she really wasn’t — she didn’t have many lovers, may be only two and they’re men she had children with.

How much creative control did you have over your character (rumour has it that Tom Cruise was originally approached to play the part)?
We all worked together — the writers and actors.

Everybody had an opinion.

I had my own views about the character but I didn’t decide on anything that other people didn’t agree.

The last time you worked with Noyce was 11 years ago.

Do you think the girl in The Bone Collector knew what she was doing compared to the one in Salt?
I don’t know.

I have to watch that movie again and I will tell you (laughs).

I only play characters I can identify with.

Maybe you can compare the two characters and see a similarity.

In The Bone Collector, I play a rookie cop who’s way out of her depth in solving murder cases.

In Salt, I play a tough agent who knows who she is and what she is doing.

How difficult is it to internalise deep characters and then switch back to being a mommy?
I am not one of those actors who has to walk around in character all the time.

If the subject matter is dark, I tend to giggle a lot — it’s like an emotional release.

You mentioned that shooting the interrogation scene with Polish actor Daniel Olbrychski (as the defected Russian spy Vassily Orlov) was tough because he stayed in character even when the camera stopped rolling.
After a heavy scene like that, most of us just got up and walked away.

I like to switch off and be myself again.

But for that particular scene, I had to stay in character even during breaks.

We talked about the scene and our characters and Daniel was just beautifully “heavy” and “deep”.

To some extent I think the experience helped develop my character.

It’s nice to stay in character sometimes, but I can’t do it every time.

In an interview, you mentioned that Shiloh is trying to find her identity, just like you did when you were growing up.

How would you prevent your daughter from experiencing the dark period you went through?
Most people find their teenage years and early adulthood difficult because they don’t know where they fit in and how useful they can be to the world.

They are plagued with questions and they feel that the world doesn’t given them much answers.

I adapted when I got older and started to travel.

I visited places where people were suffering and learnt so much from the experiences.

Most importantly, I felt ashamed of being sad because I was actually very fortunate.

The more I travel, the more excited I am about life and its possibilities.

I hope to raise my children in such a way so that they are exposed to many of life’s experiences.

There are a few small, healing nicks on the back of Angelina Jolie’s otherwise smooth, delicate hand — the kind of things a busy mom always seems to have.

It’s the only noticeable flaw on the legendary beauty and likely something Jolie, 35, wouldn’t mind at all. She makes it clear as she talks to reporters in a luxury hotel in Washington’s Georgetown neighbourhood about her upcoming movie, Salt, that she cares most about her family, notably the six children she’s raising with partner Brad Pitt.

Jolie and the cast of Salt spent last weekend promoting the D.C.-set spy thriller about female CIA agent Evelyn Salt, who is accused of being a Russian spy and must prove her innocence while she’s on the run from the Central Intelligence Agency. The film opens July 23.

Jolie, Salt co-stars Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Australian director Phillip Noyce all seemed tickled that art was imitating life. The day they started the press tour, 10 sleeper spies were sent back to Russia from the United States in the biggest spook swap since the Cold War.

“Thank goodness they made those arrests,” laughs Noyce, whose film opens with an exchange of a brutally beaten Salt for a North Korean spy. “I don’t have to point to research; I can point to headlines.”

“It feels very strange,” says Jolie of the real-life exchange. “There’s obviously two feelings — our relationship with Russia as a country has improved, there’s many things hinging on our relationship, becoming closer, working together. The political citizen in me wants to hope that it doesn’t adjust anything related to that. The side of me that makes a film about this situation thinks, ‘My God, what timing.’ It’s bizarre. It feels like we’re walking into some odd reality.”

The creamy-skinned Jolie is coolly composed and wearing minimal makeup as she sits to chat. She is very slim in a blue-black sheath dress, yet she has enviable curves evident beneath a fitted jacket. Her only jewellery is a slim watch that is loose on her tiny wrist and a narrow art deco ring with a massive emerald sandwiched between a pair of diamonds that reaches almost to her knuckle. Square-cut emeralds, also vintage, dangle from her ears, half hidden in her long brown hair.

Jolie doesn’t play the glamour card in Salt. The movie’s plot centres on her fast-paced race to prove her innocence after a Russian walks into CIA headquarters and accuses her of being part of a bizarre plot relating to Day X — the day Russian sleeper spies rise and begin attacks on the U.S.

Originally the movie was based on a male character, Edwin A. Salt, and Tom Cruise was cast in the role. He left the project in 2008, feeling it was too close to his Mission: Impossible flicks. And when Jolie later turned down a Bond girl role, saying she’d rather play the suave spy hero, Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal had the “brilliant idea” to make Edwin A. Salt into Evelyn, says Salt producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Jolie took the role.

Jolie is no stranger to action flicks. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Wanted and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (she met Pitt during filming) have seen her take on rough-and-tumble roles. But Salt is even more intense.

“I’ve done action movies before, but not one based on reality, and we talked about it and there really hadn’t been one based on a woman and that was strange to me,” Jolie says. “It felt like uncharted territory that would be fun to explore and a good challenge. I also hadn’t worked for a year and a half and had two babies (twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt have just turned 2) and I felt very mommy. I was sitting in my dressing gown reading the script and started to flip through it: jumping off trucks. And I said, ‘You know that may be really good for me right now. It’ll be good to do,’ and the physical part of it felt like a really smart thing to do, just to get out.”

Besides the twins, the Jolie-Pitt brood includes 9-year-old Maddox, 6-year-old Pax, 5-year-old Zahara and Shiloh, age 4. Jolie says the kids were on the set with her in Washington, playing with fake blood (they loved to play vampire, Jolie says with a grin) and marvelling at how different their mom looked in the blond and jet-black wigs she wears in the film — not to mention a scene where she dresses as a man.

“It was a lot of fun, I’ve never done that before,” says Jolie. “It’s always fun to do things you’ve never done.

“When I dressed up and walked on set for the first time, the crew was so uncomfortable. The guys didn’t want to stand near me, just staring at me but away from me. … The girls, some thought I was cute but also didn’t know what to do. It was the most unusual feeling, but the only thing to do was to get into it. I just got fully into it and loved hanging out as him.”

She was so convincing as a dude, some of the crew had no idea it was the glamorous star until she started talking to director Noyce “and they were very freaked out that they’d been with me the whole day (and not known.)”

When it came time to do action scenes in the movie — and there are many, from fights where Salt takes out multiple attackers, to spectacular crashes and chases where she leaps from truck to speeding truck top — the actress proved to be fearless, say cast and crew.

Noyce (Clear and Present Danger, Patriot Games) describes Jolie as “a director’s dream.”

“Even though she’s very successful, she’s fearless. She’ll do anything,” he says of the actress he last worked with in 1999’s The Bone Collector.

“In this movie you see someone called Evelyn A. Salt on the side of an 11-storey building or jumping from truck to truck and you see it’s Angelina Jolie. It’s really her.”

Noyce says Cirque du Soleil-style cables were used to keep Jolie safe, but there was still a real element of danger to the work.

Jolie says yes, she was 11 storeys up, moving from one window to the next in bare feet along a narrow ledge. But it didn’t bother her.

“They kept trying to get pigeons to fly under me, they kept throwing pigeons out of the window so you could see the height, but the pigeons kept trying to get inside,” Jolie says with a smile. “So it was me and the pigeons. I like heights. I have no (fear). I like to hang out. Everyone else was uncomfortable. But there, I’m fine.”

Is there anything she won’t do? Not really, says Jolie. But when it comes to their personal lives, doing something like the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, she and Pitt act with caution.

“We have this line of what we can do, having six children. If it can break us, that’s okay. If it can kill us, we kinda can’t do it. The bulls might be something that I’ve committed to too many children to be doing. But still, we fly planes, ride big motorcycles.”

Given her being dubbed fearless by so many on the Salt set, it begs the question, what is Jolie afraid of?

“I’m only afraid of having something done to people I love,” she says. “That’s the great fear for everybody.”

The spy who taught her

Angelina Jolie “sucked my brain dry,” says Melissa Boyle Mahle, a former CIA spy stationed in the Middle East, who acted as technical adviser on the thriller Salt.

Mahle, who was an operative for 16 years and has written a book called Denial and Deception: An Insider’s View of the CIA, says Jolie was eager to find out as much as she could about women working in the Central Intelligence Agency to help her portray agent Evelyn Salt, an agent who is accused of being a Russian spy.

“I was very impressed in sitting down and working with her,” Mahle said at a press conference held in Washington’s International Spy Museum last week. “She was very focused.”

Mahle said Jolie was curious about issues surrounding, “what does it mean to be loyal, how does it feel to be accused, what are the relationships with peers and family?”

In the film, Jolie’s character is married and she has a close relationship with her boss, Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber), who steadfastly believes in her, and a fractious one with fellow agent Peabody (Chiwetel Ejiofor), who is convinced she’s guilty.

“We all agree this could happen,” Mahle says: Sleeper agents could infiltrate the CIA. Look no farther than the Russian spies who were captured after seamlessly blending into American society for years and were handed over in an exchange of prisoners a week ago, she points out.

Still, in order to keep audiences entertained, Salt doesn’t veer into the realm of realism very much, Mahle adds.

“Some scenes are over the top. If I had one day in my career like Salt, I don’t think I’d have much of a career.”

The stunning actress – who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt – insists she doesn’t really need to work out because she’s been blessed with fortunate genes.

She said: “I really don’t work out. I’ve always been kind of slight and I’ve always loved to run and jump around and be physical so action roles are not a huge challenge for me. I enjoy them.”

Angelina is often voted one of the world’s most beautiful women and her slender figure is admired by millions of women.

When Angelina filmed the first ‘Tomb Raider’ movie, she had to change her diet to take on the role of Lara Croft and admitted she never felt better.

She said: “It was such a challenge physically. A special diet also helped me shape my body. I ate steamed sea bass or steamed beef and vegetables, and I had no sugar and only drank soy milk.

“I’m all for curves on a woman, and feeling sexy and I never felt healthier or stronger than during the filming of this movie.”

Last year, a Robsten appearance threw Comic-Con audiences into a tizzy. This year, could Hollywood’s most glamorous movie star couple show up to give the expected 126,000 fans something to scream about?

That’s the big question as movie geeks prepare for the annual pilgrimage to San Diego’s Comic-Con International, where both Angelina Jolie’s Salt and Brad Pitt’s Megamind will be presented on the same day, per the very A-list, Twilight-free and Tron-heavy schedule released today:

Even without the presence of sparkly vampires (right, there is no Twilight panel this year), the pop culture confab will be a star-studded weekend with presentations of highly anticipated studio flicks like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Expendables, and the aforementioned Salt and Megamind, December’s Tron: Legacy, and the 2011 sci-fi/action pic Battle: Los Angeles.

And those panels are just on the first day, July 22!

While Brangelina are currently unconfirmed to attend the panels, surprise guests have been known to drop in on unsuspecting Con attendees in the past. Last year, Johnny Depp popped in to say hello during Disney’s Alice in Wonderland panel, dazzling the crowd with a wave and hello. A year earlier, Hugh Jackman surprised fans in support of Wolverine.

The biggest clue that Sony/Columbia Pictures might bring Angie back to Comic-Con? (She appeared, pre-Brangelina, to pimp 2003′s Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.) They promise “some very special guests” to accompany exclusive footage from the action pic, which opens nationwide the next day.

While fans simmer in that delicious ambiguity, they’ll have plenty of A-list talent to ogle over the weekend.

Stars already confirmed to attend include Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jeff Bridges, Michael Sheen, Olivia Wilde, Sylvester Stallone, Michelle Rodriguez, Aaron Eckhart, J.J. Abrams, Joss Whedon, Michael Cera, Bruce Willis, and every fan boy’s favorite GILF, Helen Mirren. (Rrawr!)

Friday will see even more stars—in three dimensions!—as Jerry O’Connell, Elisabeth Shue, Jessica Szohr, Steven McQueen, and Eli Roth take the stage with Piranha 3-D before Nicolas Cage presents footage from his 2011 revenge-horror pic, Drive Angry 3-D.

Seth Rogen and director Michel Gondry are also expected to appear over the weekend with their 2011 superhero flick, The Green Hornet.

Check back for updates as the full schedule is announced this weekend!
