Seven was a movie that helped put Brad Pitt on the map, and now the number will hold special significance for the Hollywood hunk and his real life leading lady Angelina Jolie. That’s because seven is the number of children the couple hopes to have.

It is no secret that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been under a large deal of public scrutiny lately, even for their standards. Speculation in recent weeks has centered on whether Brad and Angie will break up. But Brangelina hasn’t issued any public confirmation that the rumors are correct. Instead they have been sticking to their favorite themes of marriage and family.

“I have the most beautiful family,” Brad told the Daily Mirror after the Cannes Film Festival on May 20. “What else can a guy want?”

Apparently more of the same, Brad.

“[Angelina and I] are lucky…to have children from around the world,” he said. “They’re all fantastic, and we’d love another. Who knows, maybe we’ll have one in London.”

Brad Pitt, 45, didn’t say whether he and Angelina Jolie, 34, would conceive through natural means or would instead choose adoption, but the reporter from the Daily Mirror Sarah Tetteh said he dropped many hints as to what his and Angie’s intentions are.

“I got the feeling they’ll definitely consider adopting again,” Tetteh told Life and Style. “He seemed open to more children from around the world.”

They could consider Africa again, where daughter Zahara hails from.

“Brad sounded so elated when talking about Zahara,” said Tetteh. “He had his hand to his heart, and was gushing about her with so much passion. She’s certainly the apple of his eye.”

Angelina has expressed an interest in finding another child of African heritage to make life easier for Zahara. In 2006 she said that she and Brad wondered how they could “balance the races so there’s another African person in the house for Z, so there’s another Asian person in the house for Madd.”

Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie prefers to stay at home rather than going out with her children because she hates the glares and whispers of
the public. The 33-year old actress who has six children with her partner Brad Pitt wants to protect her family’s privacy and dreams of an insulated world.

The ‘Tomb Raider’ star dislikes the attention she gets while she appears in public, so she prefers to stay in home. “She’s not a big fan of going out in public with the kids and encouraging the stares and whispers of the public. She does it all the time, sure. But she’d rather live in a more private, insulated world,” a source close to the star couple said. Jolie’s favourite getaway is her private estate in France, a property worth US $70 million she and Pitt had bought last year. The mansion has 35 bedrooms and acres of outdoor space.

Pitt though not fond of the limelight is determined to give his children a normal upbringing and not hide them away. “Brad has been thriving for the last couple of months. Just getting up in the morning at the crack of dawn and making a big breakfast, being the house husband, taking care of the kids. It’s been a few months of heaven for him,” the source added.

Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital today after getting hurt on the set of her new movie.

Angelina was shooting “Salt” on Long Island, when she bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes. She bled a bit and was taken to the hospital.

Her manager tells us she was doing a stunt when the incident occurred. He says she is completely fine.

We just got a statement from the film’s production company:

“This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Angelina Jolie will adopt a baby from Armenia, although her husband, Brad Pitt, prefers adopting an Indian baby, according to reports by several news sources.

Few details have surfaced about the adoption, especially since Armenian officials seem to be keeping a tight lip on the matter. RIA Novosti reported on May 26 that Lena Airapetyan, who runs the department for children in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, said Jolie and Pitt should go through the standard procedure of adoptions.

“They must provide full information on biographies, annual profit, a guarantee that they can take care of a child, and proof of a lack of previous convictions. If everything passes smoothly, a child could be adopted within a month,” Airapetyan said. “They give me great hope as I have heard that they take good care of adopted children,” she added.

Other news sources reported, citing friends of the couple, that Brad and Angelina have already visited Armenia.

Talking about the reasons behind Angelina’s choice, Examiner.com writes, “One of the reasons Angelina wants to adopt from Armenia is because there is a lot less ‘red’ tape and the adoption process can be a lot easier. She also believes an Armenian child will fit in perfectly with her African, Cambodian, and Vietnamese babies.”

The beautiful blond girl was delivered via caesarean section in 2006 in Namibia, a country in southern Africa. Her early infancy was a normal one, assuming you’re the daughter of a pair of world-famous, A-list multi-millionaire movie stars.

Her baby pics were sold by mom and dad for more than $7 million, and Madame Tussaud’s made a wax figure of her when she was only 2-months-old.

Angie visits to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, Tuesday May 19 2009. Jolie attended the trial of a Congolese warlord charged with using child soldiers. Jolie says in a statement released by the court Tuesday that the case against Thomas Lubanga is a “landmark trial for children” and pays tribute to the former child soldiers who travel to the court’s seat in The Hague to testify. Lubanga, founder and former leader of the Union of Congolese Patriots political movement and its armed wing, has pleaded innocent to charges of recruiting and using child soldiers in tribal conflicts in 2002-2003. His is the first international trial to focus solely on child soldiers. The United Nations estimates up to 250,000 child soldiers still fight in more than a dozen countries.

The third time will be glorious at Cannes as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are expected to walk the red carpet again at the South of France film festival, which began Wednesday.

Pitt is in town to push his Quentin Tarantino-helmed Inglourious Basterds and Jolie is likely to get time off from filming Salt to join him May 20. It will be the third time in a row the pair have jetted in, with Jolie attending last year while pregnant with twins.
